Today's high in Knoxville got up to 96 degrees.

In 2010, we have had 41 days at 90 degrees or higher.

What's remarkable about today is that the overnight low this morning was 80 degrees. This marks the all-time warmest low in Knoxville, since records have been kept, according to the National Weather Service office in Morristown.

We had a warm low of 79 degrees on June 30th, 1936, but today's warm start "takes the cake," so to speak.

The chance of rain on Monday and Tuesday is running around 60 percent. A cold front will be stalling across East Tennessee, allowing for more rain to move into our area.

Expected Highs on Monday

Oneida 85 degrees
Tazewell 87 degrees
Oak Ridge 88 degrees
Knoxville 90 degrees
