 <title>Heat Builds Once Again</title>

<description><![CDATA[Today's high in Knoxville got up to 91 degrees.<br />
<br />
In 2010, we have had <b>44 days</b> at 90 degrees or higher.<br />
<br />
More showers and thunderstorms are expected tonight.<br />
<br />
A cold front will be dropping in from the North and West over the next 24 hours.  With enough moisture in place, don't be surprised if a few showers or thunderstorms fire up again on Thursday afternoon.<br />
<br />
The chance of rain on Thursday is running about 40 percent.  I am expecting no rain on Friday.<br />
<br />
Take note...high temperatures will be gradually increasing over the next 3 to 5 days, where mid-90s will become commonplace once again.<br />
<br />
So far in Knoxville, the rain deficit stands at - 6.68 inches for the year.<br />

A warm front will be lifting to our North and East over the next 24 hours.  With enough moisture in place, don't be surprised if a few showers or thunderstorms fire up again on Wednesday afternoon.<br />
<br />
The chance of rain on Wednesday is running around 20 percent.<br />
The chance of rain on Thursday is running about 40 percent, as a cold front drops in from the North and West.<br />
<br />

A cold front has stalled across East Tennessee, allowing for more rain to move into our area.<br />
<br />
The chance of rain on Tuesday is running around 40 percent.  The chance of rain on Wednesday and Thursday is running around 20 percent.<br />
<br />
So far in Knoxville, the rain deficit stands at <i><b>- 6.46 inches </b></i>for the year.<br />

 <title>Rain On The Way</title>

<description><![CDATA[Today's high in Knoxville got up to 96 degrees.<br />

In 2010, we have had <b>41 days </b>at 90 degrees or higher.<br />
<br />
What's remarkable about today is that the overnight low this morning was 80 degrees.  This marks the<i><b> all-time warmest low in Knoxville</b></i>, since records have been kept, according to the National Weather Service office in Morristown.<br />
<br />
We had a warm low of 79 degrees on June 30th, 1936, but today's warm start "takes the cake," so to speak.<br />
<br />
The chance of rain on Monday and Tuesday is running around 60 percent.  A cold front will be stalling across East Tennessee, allowing for more rain to move into our area.<br />

Meanwhile, "Bonnie" is expected to move over the Oil Spill by Saturday afternoon and make landfall between Louisiana and Mississippi late Saturday night.<br />
